South Africa's Volmoed Youth Drummers

These young people make their own drums and perform in schools, hospitals, community organizations, etc. In the rebuilding of post-apartheid South Africa, from their country’s most impoverished of townships. The drummers are empowered, deal with issues of ongoing racism and youth unemployment, and create community.
