In the Spring of 2024, the Presbyterian Church of Orland Park confirmed six middle-schoolers as members of the church and, more importantly, disciples of Jesus tasked with living their faith and serving their neighbors.

In addition to weekly classes centered around what it means to follow Jesus and asking difficult questions about their faith and justice, confirmands visited a mosque, and synagogue, and went on a weekend retreat.

On Confirmation Sunday, they read statements of faith in front of the congregation and were received into the church.
